
TERM PROGRAM
What is it?
Term-based weekly chamber music sessions focusing on ensemble skill development and repertoire.
Firstly, students participate in fun games and activities that deepen their understanding of tonality and pulse - essential to any chamber music group!
Each student will then play in their chamber group/s, enjoying a variety of different combinations of students, instrumentations and repertoire.
Your place is guaranteed when you register.
Open to
Violin, viola and cello students aged 9 - 17.
Students must already be having individual lessons. See age and grade requirements below.
Details
Sessions are held Tuesdays after school for 8 weeks commencing in the 2nd week of each term.
Masters Session 4:00 - 5:30pm
Students aged 9 - 12 and level equivalent to AMEB Grades 1 - 4
Students must have been having lessons for a minimum of 2 years.
Elite Session 5:30 - 7:00pm
Students aged 12 - 17 and level equivalent to AMEB Grades 5+.
In individual circumstances, younger students (playing above Grade 5 level) may be invited to attend the Elite session. Please send us an email to check if this is applicable.
Cost
$290 per student
$260 per student if re-enrolling from the previous term
