Spring Academy 2021

WAYACHAMP's 4-day program provides a unique opportunity for young students to experience the thrill of chamber music. Students participate in two small ensembles, a variety of workshops, chamber orchestra and a Final Concert. 

Open to students aged 10 - 17

Violin, viola or cello at least grade 2 level (AMEB or equivalent)

Piano students at least grade 6 level (AMEB or equivalent)

Both pre-formed groups and individuals are accepted.

Dates and times:

Monday 27th September 9:30am - 3:30/4:00pm*

Tuesday 28th September 9:30am - 3:30/4:00pm

Wednesday 29th September 9:30am - 3:30/4:00pm

Thursday 30th September 9:30am - 3:30/4:00pm

Final Concerts Thursday 30th September 5:30pm (Masters) / 7:30pm (Elite)

* Masters stream students finish each day at 3:30pm / Elite stream students finish each day at 4:00pm

Tickets

Trio package: $335 per student (includes ticket for 1 + WAYACHAMP t-shirt + WAYACHAMP tote bag) (early bird: $305)

Duo package: $320 per student (includes ticket for 1 + WAYACHAMP t-shirt) (early bird: $290)

Basic package: $300 per student (includes ticket for 1) (early bird: $270)

No audition is necessary however registered participants will receive a set of excerpts which are to be recorded. This assists with placing students in ensembles.
